First impression

Porn Week is a wonderful vacation destination. For a mere three thousand dollars you can hang out and party with top porn stars, go behind the scenes of big budget blue movie shoots in exotic locations around the world (including the Canary Islands and Prague), enjoy private adult parties, assist on the set and watch sex scenes get filmed right in front of you for five days straight. Each vacation includes tons of photo and video opportunities and each guest gets to play director as he or she makes a film of his or her own solo scene starring one of the girls to take home as a “naughty souvenir.” As if all of that’s not good enough, participants also get the chance to appear in front of the camera (providing they pass their STD tests and “meet certain requirements set forth by the director;” i.e., can keep it up while countless people look on). Yes, you could actually be discovered at one of Porn Week’s casting calls! The vacation of a lifetime could very well make you a star! (Scoff if you like, but British stud Ben Kelly got his big break at Porn Week years ago.) Gee, it’s no wonder Maxim, the magazine of choice for guys who like to play poker online and pay for sex, called Porn Week “AMAZING!”

Too bad Porn Week’s official site isn’t nearly as “AMAZING” as Porn Week itself. Though much of the footage on this site is absolutely fascinating to watch, I can’t honestly say that any of it is truly erotic. Sure, it’s fun to watch guests hoot and holler as professional sex workers fuck in front of ‘em, but it’s not very titillating. Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the cell phone video that a guest shot of Dora Venter masturbating in the back of a van, but it didn’t exactly turn me on. And though I did get a cheap laugh out of the scene in which Denise K “tries out” a guest (watch as Denise speaks to the guest in a patronizing manner and pushes his hands away from her as she absentmindedly services him), I can’t say I got off to it.

Not only is the content on Porn Week unsatisfying, but there’s also not much of it to look at in the first place. Currently, there are only fifteen scenes on the site and I have no idea how often Porn Week is updated, so there’s no telling how long it will be until new sets are added. The scenes come equipped with many, many poor screen captures as well as three to six video clips that can be viewed in two speeds or downloaded as a whole. The full scenes can be viewed with Windows Media Player or QuickTime and are usually between ten to thirty minutes in length, so there’s not much meat on Porn Week. Fortunately, members of Porn Week also get access to thirty-three bonus sites. Phew!

Full disclosure: I’ve never heard of any of the “stars” you’ll get to “party” with on your Porn Week vacation. Let’s face it: Tera Patrick’s not gonna be blowing random strangers at Porn Week anytime soon. You’ll have to settle for Nikki Sun, you poor bastard. Somehow I think you’ll manage.

Conclusion

If you’re interested in seeing some captivating behind-the-scenes footage, then Porn Week’s site will provide you with a few hours of quality entertainment. However, if you’re looking for good masturbation fodder, you’d better look elsewhere (the underwear section of the Sear’s catalog, maybe?). Honestly, it’s probably in your best interest to skip this site entirely and save your pennies for a Porn Week vacation instead.
