First impression

Male Spectrum Pass, as the name indicates, is a large network that features men in all shapes and sizes. This extensive gay porn network lets you know exactly how much porn you're getting right in the tour – 1,173 total network updates, which sounds like an impressive amount to me.

The member's area does not look like a network hub, but rather more of a megasite. It looks like Male Spectrum Pass is going to be aggregating all of its content instead of splitting it up into individual sites. You click through to an individual content page that lists all of the episodes, and whether or not they are high definition. As indicated on the tour page, Male Spectrum Pass does indeed have 1,173 updates. You can browse through them with keyword or model searches on the main page, but this is oddly absent on the actual episode page itself.

Male Spectrum Pass looks like a pretty run of the mill hardcore gay porn megasite, with a mix of niches, sexy men, and action. It would have been quite handy to have some sort of category browsing, but they didn't seem to put any special effort into the megasite network compared to their other sites, since this is the company's standard layout. You get multiple updates per month.

The episode pages have a quick description and listing of the model name, and then you have the streaming and download videos to the right, with the gallery at the bottom. It's a pretty slick layout for an episode page, giving you everything you could want right on the screen. The video downloads are only given in WMV full scene, but you have a pretty extensive set of options with your streaming videos. You can choose the format, either Flash or WMV, as well as whether you want a clip or full scene. Then you choose the quality, ranging from 480x360 and 500 kbps up to 1000x600 and 4 mbps. The videos look damn good at the highest quality, and it's nice to be able to pick so many different viewing options.

Photo wise, the galleries are photo sets that follow the video without being screencap sets. The sets generally have about 100 pictures per set, and they are given at 533x800. You can get zip downloads or a Cool Iris gallery view if you don't want to just look through the individual pages. The photos look good but not amazing, but they're enough that you might want to add them to a porn photo collection.

Although this site is a megasite of its own, you also get a number of bonuses. The first section of bonuses is given in the Reality Sites section. You get 10 sites run by this company, encompassing many different gay reality porn niches. The bonus content section has 9 third party feeds, with a few of the more popular feeds around.

Conclusion

Male Spectrum Pass needs to have a better layout or a category view for the massive amount of sets here, or else a division into individual sites. The collection overall is good, although it does not exactly have a defining feature beyond the general gay hardcore action.
